Made a quick CVS run
1 8 pack of paper towels $4.99
3 Colgate totals $2.99- .50, .75 and .75 coupons
1 Johnsons Buddy Soap .99-1.00 coupon
1 CVS candy .99- free candy coupon
1 Trident Gum $1.19 (because my total was too low) :)
-$5 CVS coupon
-$8 ECB
Total was $.66 on a gift card.
And I earned $8.96 ECB for the colgate, so made a little and got everything free :)

Where do I look in my CVS for that machine to scan my card and get that CVS candy coupon?

Its the price scanner. I have price scanners in all of my stores, each one has at least one, some 2. And one is near the front, in the first couple of aisle. Not all of the price scanners print coupons though. If you look overhead there should be a red sign (I think its red) that says price check pointing down at the scanner. Also on the price scanner, if it prints coupons there will be a sign that says so, although they are the same type of machine, so maybe some have the paper and software for coupons and some don't... You could ask too, just ask if they have a price scanner or not. :) HTH

kc-
You are my hero. This couponing thing is great! I went Walgreens today and got the Olay soap and Venus razor. I had to spend $16 OOP, but got back $18 OYNO and I qualify for the $9.99 razor rebate. I can't wait to get to the point I don't have to spend any OOP. I had to tell my success story with someone...dh just doesn't get as excited about it as I do. Thanks for inspiring me. --Nae

Yeah!! Your DH might become more supportive over time. Mine is, although I have been doing it for awhile, started in college and have been doing it hard core on and off for about 10 years now. He appreciates it and even does deals for me sometimes when I spell it out for him. He has even questioned cashiers when it doens't work like he expects it to :) Anyway, thanks for sharing, you made me smile! :)
