I still check your blog occasionally and am so amazed by your success. You're still my hero. Question: I have 3 RR at WAG totaling $26, can I buy gift cards with these? Is that what you are doing? Thanks, Denae

Yes I do that, it sort of up to the store and cashier though. I have been successful lately. Basically with 26 I would get a $25 gift card and then buy a couple cheap fillers, because its one coupon per item, so if you use 3 RR, you must be purchasing 3 things, the cash register will only take one coupon or RR per item. So a $25 gift card and 2 utensils packs on sale this week for 2/$1. Would put you at exactly $26 and the register shouldn't beep unless you have more than 3 RR to use. Also if you use a manufacturer's coupon that counts in your total. So again one coupon/rr per item. WAG coupons from their sales ads or rebate books don't count, you can use those in conjunction with MFC or RR. I hope that makes sense.
Anyway, it works most of hte time for me. I wait for the them to ring everything up, have enough fillers and don't go negative and it goes fine. I hope that helps.

I am glad to see you are still reading, I have been slacking lately, my dad was visiting for a month, so I didn't have much time for lots of shopping and blogging. :)

Love watching that ticker go up!

Thanks, that helps alot. But I guess it does depend on the store, because last month I tried using 3 RR for one transaction and they would only let me use 1, so I had to end up breaking up my order. Kind of a pain. So I'll be sure to ask before I checkout. My RRs expire next week, so I'm excited to use them on something useful. Thanks, Denae

Thanks precious! I will be moving it up sometime weekend again!!

Denae, I hope you had luck with your store, I find that its easier just to do the deal then to ask questions, particularly at Walgreens, when they often tell me they can't adjust a coupon down in value (so no overage), even though I have spoken to higher ups on several occasions and apprently they policy is to adjust the coupon value. :)
If not you could always do some extra Free after rebate items and request a check, so its cash to you..
